Product Overview
The Spears Manufacturing Co. P601-257BC is a 45-degree PVC DWV reducing wye fitting, featuring hub (socket) connections on all three ends. It is designed for connecting a reducing branch line into a horizontal drain pipe and can also be used with a Twist-Lok plug to create a cleanout. This fitting has a 2-inch main run with a 1-1/2-inch reducing branch. Manufactured from PVC compound with a cell classification of 12454, it complies with ASTM D2665, ASTM D3311, and ASTM D1784, and is NSF certified to Standard 14 for drain, waste, and vent applications. It is suitable for non-pressure applications with a maximum operating temperature of 140°F (60°C
