Product Overview
The Spears Manufacturing Co. P801-422 is a PVC DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent) spigot reducing closet flange designed for connecting a toilet to the plumbing drainage system. Constructed from polyvinyl chloride, this fitting offers corrosion resistance and is intended for non-pressure applications with a maximum service temperature of 140°F (60°C). The 4 x 3 inch spigot connection allows it to be solvent welded into a 4-inch DWV pipe or over a 3-inch Schedule 40 DWV pipe, providing a secure and leak-tight seal. It conforms to ASTM D2665 and ASTM D3311 standards for plastic drain, waste, and vent pipe and fittings. Installation typically involves solvent cementing after priming the surface
