The Spears Manufacturing Co. P811-422 is a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) closet flange designed for use in Drain, Waste, and Vent (DWV) plumbing systems to connect a toilet to the drain pipe. This fitting is sized to fit over 3-inch Schedule 40 DWV pipe or inside 4-inch Schedule 40 DWV pipe. It features an adjustable metal ring, which provides structural reinforcement and allows for precise alignment of toilet bolts during installation. Constructed from durable PVC, this flange meets standards such as ASTM D2665 and ASTM D3311, and is typically UPC listed. PVC DWV fittings are intended for non-pressurized applications and can withstand continuous drainage temperatures up to 140°F (60°C). Installation is typically achieved by solvent cementing; the product is not designed for use with compressed air or gase
