The Spears Manufacturing Co. TPC-005-S (TPC-0500-S) is a 1/2 inch CPVC to PEX transition adapter, featuring a CPVC socket connection on one end and a PEX barb-crimp connection on the other. It is manufactured from PlatinumXCELL CPVC material, certified by NSF for potable water and approved as low-lead. This fitting is UPC/IAPMO listed and meets ASTM D1784 standards, with a CPVC cell classification of 23447. It is rated for pressure up to 100 psi at 180°F and is suitable for hot and cold water distribution systems, with a maximum service temperature of 200°F. The adapter is designed to convert CPVC piping systems to PEX system
