This Spec Ops SPEC-M22SF framing hammer is a heavy-duty tool designed for construction tasks, including driving large nails, prying, demolition, and splitting wood. It features an aerodynamic, ballistically balanced 22-ounce high-carbon steel head with a smooth face, ideal for damage-free nail driving and minimizing marks on surfaces. The hammer is equipped with a versatile rip claw for efficient nail removal and material splitting. Its steel handle is constructed for durability and incorporates a bi-material, shock-absorbing MOA grip to reduce vibration and user fatigue. Additional features include a magnetic nail starter for one-handed nail placement and a lanyard hole for compatibility with SRS Safety Retention Systems. A Santoprene rubber mallet cap is included for non-marring applications. Constructed from heat-treated, high-carbon steel, this hammer is drop-tested to meet MIL-SPEC standards and is manufactured in Taiwan.
