Product Overview
The power is in your hands to keep your landscape in line unleash it with Spectracide lawn and garden products. Our easy-to-use insect, weed control and lawn disease solutions help you tame lawn and landscape invaders with incredible pest-punishing power. Take command with Spectracide brand. This product is a bait, so you will initially see more ants. Decreased ant activity will be observed as soon as 24 hours after bait placement, and fire ant control will occur in as little as 48 hours after application. One 5-pound bag treats 10,000 square feet for broadcast treatment. Apply in early spring or summer at the first sign of fire ant activity, then again in the fall to reduce the number of ants that return next spring. For best results, apply Spectracide One-Shot Fire Ant Killer in morning or evening hours. At these times, fire ants are actively foraging. Avoid watering or mowing the treated area for 24 hours after application to allow ants time to forage the bait and take it to the mound.
