Product Overview
The Synergistics SR1058SLE is a magnetic stripe card reader designed for horizontal card swiping in access control applications. This unit features a 4.25 inch by 6.5 inch faceplate and is engineered for surface mounting directly to a wall or over a single gang box. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, it is built to withstand demanding environmental conditions, making it ideal for bank vestibules and parking areas. The reader operates on 5VDC, 30mA power, and includes lighted indicators: yellow for power on and green to signal an unlocked door. It connects via a 6-wire, 22 AWG shielded cable with a maximum cable distance of 750 feet, and is available in a silver finish.
