The Summit Chemical Co. 011-6 Mosquito and Gnat Barrier Insecticide Concentrate is a liquid formulation designed to kill and repel a broad spectrum of outdoor insect pests. This concentrate features Permethrin (2.5%) as its active ingredient, providing up to four weeks of residual control. It targets mosquitoes, gnats, ants, fleas, ticks, chinch bugs, crickets, earwigs, grasshoppers, Japanese beetle grubs, mole crickets, sod worms, tent caterpillars, aphids, bagworms, leafminers, mealybugs, spider mites, and whiteflies. The 1-quart container can be diluted to make up to 25 gallons of finished spray, suitable for application with tank or backpack sprayers. It is intended for use on outdoor surfaces such as fences, decking, vegetation, lawns, trees, shrubs, and around building foundations. This product is highly toxic to aquatic organisms and bees; avoid application near water bodies or blooming plants. Treated areas should not be re-entered by adults, children, or pets until the spray has dried.
