Product Overview
The HydraPro HPTET2 thermal expansion tank from Sunbelt Marketing Inc. is designed for use in closed potable water systems to absorb excess pressure caused by thermal expansion when water is heated. This prevents stress on plumbing components and extends the lifespan of water heaters and fixtures. Constructed with a carbon steel shell, a stainless steel system connection, a heavy-duty butyl rubber diaphragm, and an FDA-grade polypropylene liner, the tank has a 2.1-gallon capacity. It features a 3/4 inch male thread connection, a factory preset pressure of 50 PSI, and a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI. The tank is rated for a maximum working temperature of 200°F and is certified to NSF/ANSI 61, cUPC, and IAPMO Listed standards
