CRL WCCJT33 Taper Type JT-33 Taper Center Coolant Chuck

Build your own glass drilling machine using CRL Center Coolant Chucks and your industrial drill press. They are perfect for high volume drilling of small pieces, vases, lamps, etc. They also accept our Belgian Threaded Drills, and provide optimum performance by supplying coolant continuously through the center of the drill. Coolant pressure ejects the core out of the diamond drill after drilling cycle is completed.
Our Taper Type Center Coolant Chucks replace your machine’s adjustable jaw chuck. Select CRL Cat. No. WCCJ3, WCCJT33 or WCCJ6 Taper Type to match your drill press. Hollow spindle machines will require a transition arbor of our supply. The WCCSS 1/2" Hex Straight Shank Center Coolant Chuck mounts directly into an adjustable jaw chuck. The CRL WC10A Habit Taper Type is for hand drills with 3/8" (10 mm) or larger chucks. The WC10B Habit Taper Type fits pedestal drill presses outfitted with a #2 morse taper shank arbor and a #6 Jacobs taper. The barbed water inlets fit 3/8" (10 mm) inside diameter supply hose. After extensive use, CRL Center Coolant Chucks can be rebuilt with the WCCRK Kit which includes: two Bronze Bushings, two Rubber Seals, and two Circlips.
NOTE:
Always use a Ground Fault Interrupt Circuit Device (see Cat. No. GF1) when using electrical tools in wet areas.
Product Warning:
Always wear the proper safety gear including gloves and eye protection when drilling glass. Work should be performed on a flat, horizontal surface. A Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter must be used when using any type of electric tool in conjunction with water or coolant. Failure to follow any of these precautions can result in operator injury.
