The Taylor Precision Products 9847N is a pen-style instant-read digital thermometer designed for accurate temperature measurement in food and various applications. It features a 3-inch chemical-resistant stainless steel stem and a large 1.25-inch LCD display for clear readings. The thermometer provides rapid 1-second temperature updates across a range of -40°F to 450°F (-40°C to 230°C). It includes an on/off switch, a hold function to lock readings, and an auto shut-off feature for battery conservation. Its waterproof construction allows for safe use in kitchen and lab environments. The device comes with an anti-microbial housing and pocket sleeve with a lanyard, which inhibits the growth of bacteria, odor, and mold.
