Our CRL TD25 Vertical Two-Sided Glass Drill is a compact, accurate, and affordable system. Designed to save valuable floor space, the machine measures only 120" (3.05 m) long x 48" (1.22 m) wide. The TD25 accommodates glass up to 1-1/4" (32 mm) thick and produces holes up to 5-1/2" (140 mm) in diameter. Maximum glass sheet size is 60" x 100" (1.52 x 2.54 m), and maximum drill depth from edge is 32-1/2" (826 mm).
The motors are horizontally mounted on adjustable pneumatic tracks and drilling is done with a simple joystick lever control. All work is processed vertically, which is the normal transport and storage position for glass. This allows the system to use X-Y coordinates for precise location of the hole center, and also minimizes the chances of scratching or glass breaking during handling. Bottom edge rollers easily guide the vertical glass edge to the Y coordinate. A hand operated glass clamp secures the glass in position during fabrication. Drills are kept cool and lubricated with a recirculating coolant tank and pump system.
CONTROLS: All controls are built to OSHA requirements, utilizing CE, CSA and UL Certified components. Wiring for single phase, 60 cycle, 110V AC power.
