It all started in 1975 when customers came into the company's local carpet store to look for a product to remove stains without toxic chemicals and fumes. After realizing that nothing was available, the company developed the Carpet Cleaner that removed stains from carpets. The company kept selling to local independent retailers throughout Wisconsin and Illinois for many years.
Adaven Marketing Inc., commonly referred to as AMI, was founded in 1992 as a marketing/distributing company. The primary focus of this company was to meet the customer's demands of being able to purchase TECH products locally. Tech Enterprises users wanted to be able to buy in their local drug, fabric stores, and grocery. AMI rapidly continued to expand retail outlets throughout and beyond the Midwest to independent retail hardware stores, car washes, vacuum shops, pet supply stores, and carpet stores. In 2003, Adaven Marketing purchased the assets of Positive Products Inc. and acquired the Stain-X brand of products. This acquisition allowed for an increase in the types of products available as well as additional national retailers.
In 2020, TECH Enterprises Inc. and Adaven Marketing Inc. combined into one company with products for all your cleaning needs: upholstery, carpet, clothing, wood flooring, hard surface flooring, and kitchen and bath. With the latest addition of ph-neutral, NEU Homecare, in late 2020, the company has three exceptional product brands for a safe, thorough, effective, and efficient clean.
