The CRL Tubular Aluminum Tilting Crate Handler can lean forward to lift crates like a common dolly then lean back on to its rollers for moving the crates throughout the shop. This Handler has extending support arms which extend 24" (610 mm) on either end, increasing the load capacity to 120" (3.05 m) wide. The back support braces are adjustable for changing the tilt angle of the handler to increase the load capacity. Designed to carry loads up to 60" (1.52 m) High and 4,000 lbs. (1814 kg) in Weight. This Handler measures 40" (1.02 m) wide, 72" (1.83 m) long (with extensions retracted), and 52" (1.32 m) high. Approximate shipping weight is 180 lbs. (82 kg). EVEN THOUGH THIS CRATE HANDLER HAS A 4000LB CAPACITY, SOME CRATES CANNOT BE MOVED ON THIS DOLLY DUE TO THEIR OVERALL SIZE. UNLIKE THE MECHANICS OF A HAND TRUCK, THE LOAD CAN BE TILTED BACK TO ANY PRESET ANGLE BETWEEN 75 AND 45 DEGREES. THIS ALLOWS THE AB TO BE USED FOR CRATES UP TO 16-1/2 THICK.
