Waxstix are manufactured using synthetic waxes. Waxstix are applied by rubbing the stick over the damaged area. For larger areas use Timbermate water based woodfiller. In cases where woodfiller cannot be used heat a knife blade with a flame and apply hot wax to damaged area, remove excess by rubbing with smooth side of sandpaper or a piece of cardboard. Waxstix will not shrink or sink and does not contain beeswax Waxstix are so easy to use and so handy for quick repairs to scratched or damaged timber Waxstix can be used on Nail Holes, Joints, Scratches For most scratches, simply rub the stick over the damaged area. For larger, deeper indentations where Timbermate Water-based Woodfiller cannot be used, heat a knife blade with a flame and fill damaged area with hot wax Remove excess wax by rubbing with the smooth side of sandpaper or a piece of cardboard
