Product Overview
The Titan Hand Tools model 41262 auto-darkening welding helmet features a durable, lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and flame-retardant construction. It provides eye and face protection during welding by automatically switching from a light to dark state in 1/30,000 of a second when an arc is struck, returning to normal when welding stops. Ultra-high performance filters protect against UV and IR radiation. The lens offers variable shades from DIN 9 to DIN 13 and includes outside sensitivity adjustments, with a viewing area of 3.86 x 2.17 inches. Powered by high-performance solar cells, it also includes two built-in 3V lithium batteries for backup. A special turnover headband mechanism is designed for greater comfort and reduced fatigue during extended use. This helmet weighs approximately 1.8 pounds and complies with DIN, ISO, EN safety standards and ANSI Z87.1-2003 standards. Replacement lenses are available under part number 41264.
