In addition to enabling convenient on/off LP gas control from inside your boat, this complete system minimizes the risk of explosion by monitoring your boat for the presence of LP gas in up to three locations. If gas is detected at 10% or more of lower explosion limit (LEL) it automatically turns gas off and activates audible and visual alarms. Kit includes one gas detector for monitoring one space-usually the bilge. Two additional gas detectors (Model 9457367) may be purchased for monitoring up to three spaces. Includes Marine UL-Listed detector and UL-Listed, state-of-the-art, surface-mount control panel with three alarm zone indicators, green function light, red alarm light, 95 dB alarm, mute/test button and 10 ft quick connect cable. For use with 12V, 3/8" solenoid valve (not included). The system monitors for LP gas even when the gas control panel is OFF, and its alarm horn will sound as long as LP gas is present at 10% LEL or until the mute button is touched. If gas is detected when the control panel is turned ON, the control switch, green light, solenoid and gas are automatically turned OFF. The red alarm light illuminates to show where the alarm occurred. Draws 163mA when OFF, 953mA in ON/Standby mode and 255mA in alarm mode. Panel measures 2-3/4"W x 3-3/4"H x 7/8"D.
