This Tru-Test Inc. 820024 Wood Post Claw Insulator is designed for permanent electric fencing applications on wood posts. Constructed from UV-stabilized polyethylene plastic, it provides electrical insulation for polywire, polirope, and steel/aluminum fence wires up to 4mm (8 GA). Its extra-strength jaw design secures the wire, while a large, heavy-duty shield prevents pulse arcing and reduces power leakage. The yellow insulator features long leakage paths for superior electrical performance and an open-face design to minimize wire corrosion from dust and algae accumulation. It offers easy, reusable installation without damage to the post or insulator. This product is typically supplied in a pack of 25 and comes with a 5-year warranty.
