Product Overview
The Stainless Steel Truth® Casement Window opening Control Device is designed to fit in most existing casement windows. This Control Device will limit the window opening to less than 4" (102 mm). If the device is disengaged it will automatically re-latch itself once the window has been completely closed. How to Determine Handing: Look at the window from the outside; if it is hinged on the right, order a right-hand device.
Disclaimer:
Left and right-hand handing are determined by the direction the "arm" of the opener is facing. If the arm direction faces to the left, it is considered left-hand.
Please note that the red tab on the opener is stamped with the opposite handing designation:
- "R" is stamped on left-hand openers.
- "L" is stamped on right-hand openers.
This is intentional and does not indicate that the opener is incorrect. To order the correct opener, please match the direction of the arm.
