Product Overview
Tuck Tape Sheathing Tape, model 205156055, is a construction-grade adhesive tape engineered to permanently seal building envelope components. It consists of a UV-resistant polypropylene film coated with a high shear, high tack solvent-based acrylic adhesive. Measuring 60mm wide and 55m long with a 3 mil thickness, this white tape is designed to effectively seal joints and seams of sheathing membranes, building wraps, and polyethylene vapor barriers. It prevents air infiltration and provides excellent resistance to water, moisture, UV radiation, and weathering, contributing to an airtight and weather-resistant building envelope. The tape features strong, durable holding power and aggressive adhesive contact. It is CCMC approved under report #11955-R and has been tested in accordance with ASTM-E84, Class A. This tape is intended for permanent application and will leave adhesive residue if removed.
