Product Overview
The Tytan HB6500Y is an 8-strand braided polypropylene utility rope, often featuring a hollow core design for easy splicing and high knot retention. Manufactured from polypropylene yarns, this rope is lightweight, strong, and economical. It measures 3/16 inch (approximately 5 mm) in diameter and comes in a 500-foot length in yellow. This rope floats in water due to its low specific gravity and is resistant to rot, mildew, chemicals, oils, and most solvents. It is also UV stabilized to protect against degradation from sunlight. The rope offers low stretch and an average breaking strength of approximately 750 to 850 pounds.
