This Derby Solid Braid Rope, Tytan model MFP12300R, is constructed from 100% multi-filament polypropylene (MFP) fibers, featuring a firm, round solid braid construction that resists kinking and provides a soft, flexible feel. The rope measures 3/8 inch in diameter and is 300 feet in length. Multi-filament polypropylene offers excellent knotability, low stretch, and good abrasion resistance. It is water-resistant, buoyant, and resistant to rot, mildew, and most chemicals, oils, and solvents. This rope exhibits good dielectric properties and moderate UV resistance. Commonly used in equine applications such as halters and lead ropes, it is also suitable for general utility, camping, tie-downs, marine tasks, and barrier lines. Manufactured in the USA.
