Product Overview
This Tytan International polypropylene rope (MPN: PP38600TM) is a 3-strand twisted, general-purpose line measuring 3/8 inches in diameter and 600 feet in length, supplied in a tan color. Constructed from polypropylene yarns, this rope is lightweight and floats on water, making it suitable for marine and water-based applications. It is rot-proof and resistant to oil, water, gasoline, acids, alkalis, and most chemicals. The rope exhibits good dielectric properties, meaning it will not conduct electrical current. It has a tensile strength of approximately 2430 lbs to 2440 lbs and a safe working load of around 203 lbs. While offering high strength and minimal stretch, its knot retention is less desirable.
