Product Overview
The Tytan International model PP38600YD is a 3-strand twisted polypropylene rope measuring 3/8 inch in diameter and 600 feet in length, colored yellow. This general-purpose rope is lightweight and floats on water. It is resistant to rot, mildew, oil, water, gasoline, and most chemicals, making it suitable for various outdoor and marine applications. The rope features good abrasion resistance and has a reported tensile strength of approximately 2,430 to 2,450 lbs, with a safe working load of 203 to 330 lbs. While economical and durable, polypropylene rope is known for less desirable knot retention properties. Its bright yellow color ensures high visibility.
