This Tytan SBN12100 solid braid nylon rope is a synthetic cord designed for demanding applications. Constructed from nylon fibers, it offers exceptional strength, lightweight characteristics, and good shock-absorbing elongation, stretching approximately 15-28% at break. The rope maintains its round shape under strain, making it suitable for use with pulleys and winches. It exhibits excellent resistance to rot, abrasion, oil, mildew, most chemicals, and UV degradation. While resistant to water, it does not float and its strength may reduce by up to 10-20% when wet. This versatile rope is suitable for marine, industrial, construction, and general utility purposes, including towing, mooring, and tie-down applications.
