This Tytan International SBN12500 nylon solid braid rope is a synthetic cord known for its high tensile strength, elasticity, and durability. Constructed from 100% nylon fibers in a firm, round solid braid with a lock-stitch design, it resists unraveling and performs smoothly with pulleys. The rope exhibits excellent shock-absorbing elongation, capable of stretching under load to dampen sudden forces. It offers superior resistance to abrasion, rot, mildew, oil, most chemicals, and UV degradation, making it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor applications, including marine environments. While maintaining approximately 90% of its strength when wet, nylon rope does not float and may shrink slightly. This product is Made in USA.
