This Tytan International SBN16250 solid braid nylon rope is an extremely strong and lightweight cord, constructed from 100% nylon fibers in a smooth, round, firm lock-stitch design that resists unraveling and performs well with pulleys and winches. It features excellent resistance to rot, abrasion, oil, mildew, most chemicals, and UV degradation. The rope exhibits high shock-absorbing elongation, stretching 15-28% at break, making it suitable for applications requiring dynamic load absorption. While resisting moisture, it does absorb water, which can slightly reduce its dry strength and cause it to become stiff when damp. This non-floating rope is ideal for marine applications such as mooring and anchor lines, as well as general utility, farming, camping, and industrial uses. Made in USA.
