Product Overview
This Tytan SBN61000 solid braid nylon rope is constructed from 100% nylon fibers in a circular interlocking pattern, ensuring a firm, round, and flexible cord that resists unraveling when cut. Nylon provides high tensile strength, excellent shock-absorbing elongation, and superior resistance to rot, abrasion, oil, mildew, chemicals, and UV degradation. It maintains its round shape, making it ideal for applications involving pulleys, blocks, sheaves, and winches. Commonly used as a general-purpose utility rope, it is also suitable for marine applications like anchor and dock lines, industrial tying, and various tie-down needs. The rope features a 3/16-inch diameter and comes in a 1000-foot length. Although strong, nylon rope can lose some strength when wet, regaining it upon drying.
