This Tytan International SBN81000 solid braid nylon rope features a 1/4 inch diameter and 1000 foot length. Constructed from strong nylon fibers in a solid braid, this cord offers high tensile strength, excellent shock-absorbing elongation, and a firm, round shape that works well with pulleys. It exhibits very good resistance to rot, abrasion, oil, mildew, and most chemicals. The lock-stitch design prevents unraveling. While water-resistant, it does not float and can lose approximately 10% of its strength when wet. It also provides good resistance to UV degradation. Made in USA, it is suitable for general utility, marine, and industrial applications such as towing, mooring, and pulley systems.
