The Tytan International SBN8100H Solid Braid Nylon Rope is a 1/4 inch diameter, 100-foot length general-purpose cord constructed from 100% nylon in a solid braid pattern. This construction ensures the rope maintains its round shape and resists unraveling, flattening, or kinking, making it suitable for use with pulleys, blocks, sheaves, and winches. Nylon offers high tensile strength and excellent shock-absorbing elasticity, stretching under load to absorb sudden forces. It provides good resistance to abrasion, rot, mildew, oil, and most chemicals. The rope is also resistant to UV degradation, though it may lose some strength when wet, regaining it upon drying. With a minimum break strength of 1,325 lbs, it is ideal for marine applications like anchor and dock lines, as well as industrial, agricultural, and recreational tie-down tasks. Made in USA.
