The Deep U-Channel is a structural component designed for securing glass panels in various architectural and shower enclosure applications. Constructed from aluminum, this channel provides a stable frame for glass installation. It is compatible with 3/8" or 1/2" monolithic tempered glass. The channel features a 1" width, a 1-1/2" height, and an inside width of 3/4". It comes in a 120" length, which can be cut to size as needed for specific project requirements. The glazing method for this channel can be either wet, using silicone, or dry, using a top load roll-in glazing gasket. This U-channel is finished in matte black, providing a neutral aesthetic for glass mounting systems. Matching end caps are required for installation and are sold separately.
