Uflex's 1979 & Later Evinrude, Johnson And Gale Outboard Motors, J/E - Uflex USA (C14-22) is dependable, long-lasting, and of excellent quality. This boat component does not hurt the boat engine; rather, it aids in the boat's smooth and safe operation. This Uflex engine control cable is a straight replacement for Teleflex type CC170 and Morse type O 48296 engine control cables. This control cable allows for smooth and effortless shifting while reducing lost motion. Before 1979, this control cable is on Johnson, Evinrude, and OMC engines. This control cable is firm and won't break even in the harshest marine settings. Note: For outboard engine installations, a minimum radius of roughly 8" (200 mm) is recommended, with three feet added to the length to allow for engine movement.
