Product Overview
The Uponor LF4523850 ProPEX LF Brass Male Threaded Adapter connects 3/8" PEXa tubing to 1/2" female National Pipe Thread (NPT) connections. Constructed from lead-free, dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass, this fitting is suitable for use in hot and cold potable water systems, hydronic radiant heating, and residential fire safety applications. It meets lead-free compliance standards, including NSF us-pw-G, NSF/ANSI/CAN 372, and exceeds the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act. The adapter is certified to ASTM F877 for PEX systems and ASTM F1960 for cold expansion fittings. It is rated for operating pressures up to 200 PSI and temperatures up to 200°F, with specific domestic hot water ratings of 140°F at 80 psi. Installation requires a ProPEX tool and ProPEX rings, which are sold separately. This fitting is safe for direct burial application
