Product Overview
The MiTek USP Structural Connectors WSWH358-EXTR12 is a 1/4 inch diameter by 3-5/8 inch long structural wood screw designed for robust wood-to-wood and structural fastening applications, including deck ledgers. Constructed from Grade 5 steel with an Exterior Coat finish, this self-drilling screw features a washer head with a T30 Torx drive to prevent cam-out and provide a high bearing area. Nibs under the head allow for flush seating into the wood surface. The screw incorporates a Type 17 point and twin-lead threads for fast installation, along with a reamer knurl for screws 2.5 inches and longer to facilitate smooth driving. Each screw head is stamped for easy length identification. This product is ICC-ES listed under report ESR-2761, ensuring compliance for various building codes.
