The Viega 44226 PureFlow PEX Stub-Out Elbow is a 90-degree fitting designed to provide a secure and rigid connection point for fixture supply lines from a PEX plumbing system. It features a 1/2 inch PEX crimp inlet and a 1/2 inch copper tube stub-out outlet with a nominal length of 6 inches (6.06 inches actual). This fitting creates a transition from PEX tubing within the wall to a copper stub-out that extends through the finished surface, facilitating connection to angle stops or directly to fixtures. Constructed with a lead-free brass body and copper tube, this fitting is suitable for potable water distribution systems. It complies with ASTM F1807 for PEX crimp connections and is certified lead-free under NSF/ANSI 372, meeting NSF/ANSI 14 and NSF/ANSI 61 standards for plastic piping components and drinking water system health effects.
