The Viega PureFlow PEX Stub-Out Elbow, model 44228, is a plumbing fitting designed to transition PEX tubing to a copper stub-out, creating a secure termination point for fixture supply lines. It features a 1/2 inch PEX crimp inlet connection and a 1/2 inch copper closed end outlet. The 90-degree elbow configuration facilitates directional changes within wall cavities. Constructed from lead-free copper, the stub-out's closed end allows for system pressure testing before the final fixture is installed. This 8-inch length fitting is compatible with Viega PureFlow PEX tubing and can be secured using copper crimp rings or stainless steel clamp systems within appropriately supported wall brackets.
