Product Overview
This Gold Eagle STA-BIL Storage Fuel Stabilizer (model ST022208) is a liquid chemical additive designed to preserve gasoline during long-term storage. It keeps fuel fresh for up to 24 months, thereby eliminating the need to drain fuel from equipment. The formula prevents fuel deterioration, gum and varnish build-up, and protects against rust and corrosion within the fuel system, including carburetors and fuel injectors. It also works to remove water to prevent corrosion. Effective in all gasoline blends, including ethanol-blended fuels up to E85 and non-ethanol fuels, it is suitable for use in all 2-cycle and 4-cycle gasoline engines found in vehicles, motorcycles, boats, generators, and small outdoor power equipment. One 8 oz bottle treats 20 gallons of fuel, with a recommended ratio of 1 ounce per 2.5 gallons of fuel. For optimal results, add to fresh fuel and maintain the fuel tank approximately 95% full during storage. This product is a combustible liquid.
