The Wayne Dalton Model 8000 Classic Steel Garage Door is an uninsulated, single-layer steel sectional door designed for residential applications. It features galvanized steel panels with a wood-grain texture and a raised panel design, finished with a two-coat, baked-on polyester finish in white. The door sections are 2 inches thick and incorporate box-shaped 20-gauge stiles for enhanced strength and rigidity. Snug-fitting tongue-and-groove section joints help seal against wind and rain. A full-width steel bottom rail includes a factory-installed shaped weatherseal to block drafts and maintain flexibility in varying temperatures. It utilizes SilentGlide rollers with nylon tires and solid steel shafts for smooth operation and incorporates the TorqueMaster Plus counterbalance system, which safely contains springs within a steel tube to help prevent injury. Heavy-gauge steel wraparound end caps trim the door edges. This 9x7 ft door does not include a locking mechanism.
