Weather-Proof Magnetic Door Lock System, CR Laurence is tough enough to with stand any weather conditions. This unmonitored door lock is maintenance free and durable. With the holding force of 1200lbs, this lock system provides full security as no human being can break open it (though an NFL defensive back usually hits with about 1600 pounds of tackling force... so if you're locking up your SuperBowl ring collection, you may want to use two or three of these magnetic locks). Holding Force: 1200 Lbs. Dual Voltage: 12/24 Volts 12 Volt Current Draw: 500mA 24 Volt Current Draw: 250mA Standard Wiring Unmonitored L = 8" (203 mm) H = 1-3/4" (44 mm) D = 1-13/16" (46 mm) Installation notes: • Handle with care -- scratches to magnet surface or armature place can reduce locking efficiency • Armature plate should be mounted so it pivots freely in the centre (to compensate for door wear, misalignment, etc.) • Secure all but armature plate screws with Loctite or similar thread-locking compound • Don't over-tighten the armature plate screw to keep the rubber washer flexible and help the plate pivot DS 06/27/2016

This weatherproof, unmonitored magnetic lock is not only maintenance-free, it's tough enough to withstand nearly any weather that leaves the building standing. Holding with a force of 1200 lbs you'll feel secure in the knowledge no normal human being can break its grip (though an NFL defensive back usually hits with about 1600 pounds of tackling force... so if you're locking up your SuperBowl ring collection, you may want to use two or three of these magnetic locks).

Installation notes:

  • Handle with care -- scratches to magnet surface or armature place can reduce locking efficiency
  • Armature plate should be mounted so it pivots freely in the center (to compensate for door wear, misalignment, etc.)
