The WEST MARINE G4 Side & Rear Pin Downlight LED Disk has been designed as a replacement and upgrade for standard halogen, Xenon and incandescent filament bulbs, offering dramatically lower power consumption and heat generation, while having much greater lifetime and shock resistance. For even greater light output and quality as well as higher efficiency (more light per watt) please look to our Premium series bulbs. This bulb replaces G4 bulbs, and other LED disk modules with side pins. 10-30VDC input range constant power for 12 and 24 volt systems. 90 max lumens. Amperage draw will decrease as voltage is increased. Similar brightness to a 4 or 5 watt halogen G4. Commonly used in dome lights and reading lights. Low eye strain bright warm white output. Dimmable from 7.5-10V on 12V systems. This bulb includes both side and rear pins, with the intent that you will cut off the set that you do not need. This can be used to replace MR11 and MR16 bulbs where the fixture allows 1 1/4" at the base, by using the rear pins, and will sit much more "flush/recessed" than MR series bulbs to reduce glare. Ideal universal G4 reading light replacement where fixtures allow a flat disk to fit.
