Product Overview
Unique hinge that is ideal for engine covers and lift off hatches. Sometimes opening a hatch or cover will provide sufficient access, but there are other times removal is required to make repairs: take-apart hinges are ideal for these applications. These cast 316 stainless steel hinges provide superior corrosion resistance and feature a pinand socket design that allows the hinge to be separated without tools. Ideal for engine covers and hatches that cover equipment requiring routine maintenance, these hinges work best when the hatch or cover has a flange or cleats to prevent it from moving when closed. Available in left-hand and right-hand models to offer different options to make hatch or cover removal easier.
