This CRL K.D. Sliding Screen Door Kit has 2" (51 mm) wide extruded door frame members with a .043" (1.1 mm) wall thickness. This kit comes with pre-mitered top and bottom rails with the roller and corner pre-installed. The width of this door cannot be changed. Kit comes complete with 1-3/8" (35.2 mm) diameter steel ball bearing rollers which attach quickly to the glass filled nylon corners. The roller adjustment screw is hidden on the edge of the door. Door supplied with a universal style plastic pull handle with a steel latch hook which locks into the included diecast keeper. A vinyl bug strip is provided. The recommended retainer spline size is .135", and you can use either vinyl or foam core type spline to secure the screen mesh (not included).
Product Warning:
This new kit has top and bottom rails 1/2" (12.7 mm) longer than the standard door width (a 36" door will measure 36-1/2" wide). Also, the door roller slot has been widened to be adjusted from 36-1/2" to 35-1/2". It is important to remember that both ends of the door rails should be cut no more than 1/2".
