Product Overview
A hold down hasp that doesn t rattle. The rattling noise caused by engine vibration in hatch and locker hardware can be annoying. Now you can eliminate it with Whitecap anti-rattle hold down hasps. These hold downs secure cockpit hatches, doors and lockers with a lever action to draw the hatch and bulkhead together tightly and load the latch to prevent rattling. This extra pressure also helps to maintain a tight seal on gaskets as the hatch or bulkhead flexes. Chrome-plated cast brass construction provides corrosion resistance and features counter-sunk holes for oval or flat head screws to provide a finished look. When closed, the hold down latch can be secured with a padlock that has up to a 1/4" diameter shackle.
