This CRL Wood's 1,800 Pound Capacity D.C. Gentle Giant Vacuum Lifting Frame is designed for vertical lifting of large lights of glass. Overhead cranes or hoists of your supply provide upward and downward movement. This vertical lifter is used when rotation and tilt are not required for load positioning. The 'T' shaped frame distributes the lift equally, providing rigidity and stability across the glass surface. Vacuum controls are conveniently mounted on the lower bar assembly for easy access.
The VLGG1011LAC uses a 12 volt A.C. 50/60 hertz, 6 amps power supply. The ten, 8" (280 mm) lipped vacuum cups apply to the glass in only six seconds and release from the glass in approximately four seconds.
Standard features include twist-lock electrical plug, blow-off for quick release, green safe lift light, vacuum gauge, vacuum reserve tank, vacuum line filter, spring mounted pads, nylon slings and operator safety mesh.
Other options available on special order include a vacuum loss warning buzzer, individual pad shutoffs, voltage adaptation, and 12-Volt/DC vacuum back up system.
Powr Lifting Frames for Rent
CRL offers large Power Lifting Frames on a week to week rental basis. Customers are responsible for all common carrier freight charges and may require to provide a security deposit. Usage time is based on a one week minimum and begins on the day the frame arrives at the customer. Rental billing ends on the day the frame is shipped back to the manufacturer. Usage time is based on a one week minimum and begins on the day the frame arrives at the customer. Rental billing ends on the day the frame is shipped back to the manufacturer. Billing is for full weeks only, no partial weeks. Customers are responsible for both freight in and out, and must ship the frame back packed in the same manner and condition as it arrived. Rentals can only be made to open account CRL customers with current account balances and available credit. Customer must maintain and operate frames as per the manufacturer's instructions for use. Damage to, or loss of the frame are the responsibility of the customer. Only a few of these rental frames are available, so advanced reservations are necessary. The manufacturer's engineers will contact the customer to confirm the frame being rented is appropriate for a safe and effective lift.
