Yamaha 6P2-14984-00-00 VST Float Chamber Gasket The Vapor Separator Tank (VST) filter part number 6P2-14984-00-00 is attached to the electric fuel pump inside the VST and provides the final stage of filtration before fuel is pressurized into the injection rail. It traps tiny particles that have bypassed the primary and inline filters, ensuring that only clean fuel reaches the injectors. Yamaha recommends replacing the VST filter after every 300 hours of engine operation. Some models also have an inline filter between the primary pump and the VST; both filters should be inspected during fuel system service. A clogged VST filter can restrict fuel flow, cause hard starting or hesitation and damage the fuel pump. Replacing this OEM Yamaha filter restores proper fuel pressure and helps maintain peak engine performance. Final stage fuel filter inside the Vapor Separator Tank (VST).
