Product Overview
This potent antifouling paint provides multi-season protection against marine growth. This high-performance antifouling paint delivers strong, multi-season protection against marine growth to keep your boat running smoothly in challenging waters. Formulated without Irgarol due to worldwide shortages, it is engineered with advanced copper technology to provide reliable fouling resistance. A high copper loading combined with copper slime prevention ensures maximum protection, making it one of the most effective hard antifoulants available for fiberglass and wood hulls. The epoxy base cures to a hard, durable finish that can be burnished for reduced drag, helping maintain speed and efficiency through the water. The paint is a modified epoxy type, recommended for use in moderate to high fouling waters. It contains 65 percent cuprous oxide as the primary biocide and PTFE additives for enhanced performance. Two coats are recommended for optimal protection, with coverage of approximately 400 square feet per gallon. For thinning, use 120 Brushing Thinner (Model 249961) or 121 Spraying Thinner (Model 249995). Drying time is 4 hours to overcoat at 70 degreeF, and 16 hours to launch, allowing for efficient application and quick turnaround.
