The Door Closer Arms are designed as a regular arm component for the LCN 1460 series universal medium-duty door closers. This arm is finished in a black painted color, providing a consistent aesthetic for commercial and institutional door hardware. The arm is compatible with the 1460 series closer, which is a non-handed, fully reversible unit suitable for various door configurations. This closer system supports mounting on the hinge side, top jamb, or parallel arm on either right or left swinging doors. The closer cylinder is constructed from high-strength cast iron and is adjustable with a spring strength range of 1-6, accommodating interior doors up to 5 ft0" and exterior doors up to 4 ft0". The system includes independent adjustment valves for backcheck, closing, and latching speeds, which are concealed behind the cover to prevent tampering. The arm and shoe bracket joints are designed to adapt to uneven mounting surfaces. This product meets ADA requirements and is BAA qualified. The installation process is supported by a stick-on template for accuracy. The closer is tested to 2,000,000 cycles, ensuring consistent operation in various site conditions.
