The SOSS Model 218 (MPN: 218US10BL) is an invisible hinge designed for concealed installation in wood or metal doors, providing a flush appearance when closed. Constructed with a zinc body and steel pins, complemented by durable nylon links, this hinge offers enhanced security and strength. It measures 4-5/8" in height and is suitable for doors with a minimum thickness of 1-3/4" up to 2". The hinge allows for a full 180-degree opening and features a single-action mechanism. This model is finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze Lacquered (US10BL) and comes with wood screws for installation. It is ANSI Grade 1 and UL Listed with a 20-minute fire rating. The hinge's design keeps the moving pivot point internally to eliminate external pinch points.
