Product Overview
The SOSS 218 Series Invisible Hinge (MPN 218US15) in Satin Nickel finish provides a concealed hinge solution for doors requiring a flush, seamless appearance. Constructed from zinc and steel with nylon links, this hinge is designed for use with wood or metal door applications with a minimum thickness of 1-3/4 inches and up to 2 inches. It measures 4-5/8 inches in height, 1-1/8 inches in width, and 1-41/64 inches in depth. When closed, the hinge remains hidden and tamper-proof; when open, the riveted hinge pin is non-removable, and the hinge allows for a full 180-degree swing. This model carries a 20-minute UL Fire Rating and is ANSI Grade 1 compliant. Wood and machine screws are included for installation. For fire-rated applications, SOSS recommends one hinge for every 60 pounds of door weight.
