The SOSS 218 Series Invisible Hinge, model 218US19, is a concealed hinge designed for flush wood or metal doors requiring a hidden hinge application. Constructed from a zinc alloy body with steel pins and links, this hinge measures 4-5/8 inches in height. It features a black e-coated (US19) finish and is suitable for doors with a minimum thickness of 1-3/4 inches, accommodating up to 2-inch thick doors. The hinge opens a full 180 degrees and is a single-action design. It is non-handed and requires mortising for installation. The SOSS 218 Series is UL Listed with a 20-minute fire rating. Wood and machine screws are included for mounting. Two hinges can support approximately 150 lbs, while three hinges can support up to 200 lbs on a standard 3-foot by 7-foot door.
